Unfortunately, one of the problem areas of buying properties in this day and age in England and Wales (unlike Scotland), is that the other side can pull out of the transaction at any time, leaving you with a bill for your solicitor’s fees, and possibly search costs which can add up to quite a sizeable amount of money.  Brearleys have teamed up with a large insurer to guard against this happening to you and you being out of pocket  by being able to offer insurance cover at a reasonable cost which is likely to cover most, if not all of the legal fees and search costs if either the seller pulls out or you cannot proceed with the purchase for various reasons.
