Swing Scare

Mrs F had taken her children to a play area in a local park, and whilst there she and the children went on the swings. As she was doing so Mrs F’s foot became trapped in the matting area under the swing, and as the momentum of the swing continued the stress this placed on her lower leg caused significant fractures.

We were able to represent Mrs F on a no win no fee agreement, which meant that she could proceed with her claim without worry in relation to her of legal fees.

The claim has no been successfully concluded by Andrew Marsden of our Batley office. We were able to prove that the swing was defective, and that it had been set at too low a height. This created the circumstances which caused Mrs F’s accident to happen.
