Conveyancing During Lockdown

Following the government recent announcement regarding the latest national lockdown we would like to confirm the position with regard to moving house during the lockdown period.

The government guidelines state that you can move house during the lockdown period as well as market and view properties as estate agents, solicitors , surveyors and removal companies are allowed to continue to operate.

As expected however everything connected with the conveyancing process must be carried out in a covid secure way.

At our firm we have not locked our doors in case urgent documents need to be dropped in or collected but we must remind clients about the lockdown rules for essential travel only. Appointments will only take please by either telephone or zoom/skype.

Our conveyancers continue to work in a covid secure environment and in accordance with government guidelines which means that some of them will be working slightly altered hours and/or working from home and therefore it is now more important than ever for all clients to be patient and considerate in this increasingly difficult environment.
