Rothwell Summer Gala

There is plenty for everybody to enjoy at the Rothwell summer gala on 09 July 2016. This ever popular annual event always attracts the crowds, and the sunshine! – organisers say that they have ordered some specially for the day.

Taking place in Springhead Park just outside the town centre from 11:00 there is a lot going on. With plenty of stalls selling all types of treats and goodies, from crafts to food, toys to clothing. Plus fairground rides, music and entertainment.

For the more adventurous there is a giant inflatable assault course to test yourself against. Plus childrens entertainment, a petting farm, birds of prey, donkey rides, archery and much much more.

And for when you need to top up the batteries there are plenty of refreshment options including a hog roast, ice cream and the always popular carnival bar.

Be sure to get there early to enjoy all the fun.
