Trolley Park Trip

Mrs F was at her local supermarket and went to collect a trolley from the trolley park area. Unfortunately there was a defective cover in the floor surface near the entrance to the area. This caused Mrs F to trip and suffer injuries.

Having met with Andrew Marsden of our Batley office we were able to help Mrs F and put her claim for her. The supermarket have accepted that they were at fault, and Mrs F will now receive the compensation she deserves.

All occupiers of land owe a duty to visitors to keep them reasonably safe and free from hazards such as this. In Mrs F’s claim they certainly should have been aware of the problem and repaired it sooner, as this was an area frequently visited by staff during the trading day.
